Pedestrian Walkway System between Hing Shing Road and Tai Wo Hau Road and Provision of Covers on Walkways near Hong Kong Eye Hospital, Tuen Mun Hospital and Tang Shiu Kin Hospital

Project Description:

This Project aims to provide a comfortable and convenient pedestrian link between Hing Shing Road and Tai Wo Hau Road and covers to walkways connecting the hospitals to public transport facilities nearby for enhancing the walking environment for peoples travelling to and from the hospitals.

Scope	Demolition of existing staircase connecting Hing Shing Road and Tai Wo Hau Road; Construction of a covered two-way escalator and staircase with stair-lift connecting Hing Shing Road and Tai Wo Hau Road; Construction of retaining wall and reprovisioning of affected structures and facilities; Slope works at Hing Shing Road Playground; Construction of walkway covers near Hong Kong Eye Hospital, Tuen Mun Hospital and Tang Shiu Kin Hospital respectively and; Associated civil works, geotechnical works, electrical and mechanical works, modification works for the existing walkways, roads and drainage works, lighting works and landscaping works.
