Hong Kong Flower Show 2025: Connecting Life · Weaving Dreams

Roads and bridges connect lives, weave dreams, and carry the colourful moments of our daily life. The Highways Department's exhibition area at the 2025 Flower Show combines the elements of roads and bridges with the theme flower "Cosmos" that symbolizes vitality to present the design theme of "Connecting Life and Weaving Dreams" through three-dimensional arches and meandering garden layout.

The floor, walls and entrance of the exhibition area present trivia related to the work of the Highways Department with the use of vivid work art display and graphic patterns, enabling visitors to get immersed in the flowing garden landscape and deepen their understanding of the Highways Department’s work in the aspects of roads and railways at the same time. Our display booth was honoured to receive the Grand Award for Outstanding Exhibit (Landscape Display) under the category of Displays Section (Local).

Following the conclusion of the flower show, the Highways Department distributed some of the plants to the public through the Green Recycling Day 2025 organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, and the Flowering Giving Event organised by West Development Office of Civil Engineering and Development Department. This ensured that the flowers could continue to bloom beyond the event, promoting community greening and environmental sustainability.
