The proposed "Lift and Pedestrian Walkway System between Lai King Hill Road and Lai Cho Road, Kwai Chung" is a "Hillside Escalator Link and Elevator System". The Project aims to provide a safe, comfortable and convenient pedestrian link between Lai King Hill Road and Lai Cho Road, Kwai Chung.

Scope
  1. construction of a lift tower with two lifts at Lai King Hill Road of approximately 26 metres in height;
  2. construction of a covered elevated pedestrian walkway of approximately 3 metres in clear width and approximately 45 metres in length connecting the lift tower mentioned in item (a) and the footpath at Lai Cho Road;
  3. construction of a covered elevated pedestrian walkway of approximately 3 metres in clear width and approximately 14 metres in length connecting the lift tower mentioned in item (a) and the existing footbridge no. NF 113; and
  4. provision of ancillary works including electrical and mechanical, geotechnical, drainage and sewerage system, landscaping, public lighting, public utilities, widening of footpaths, as well as construction of an emergency access platform for the lift tower mentioned in item (a) and retaining walls, etc.
