Tenders invited for retrofitting of noise barriers on Tuen Mun Road - Fu Tei Section

     The Highways Department today (January 29) invited tenders for retrofitting of noise barriers on Tuen Mun Road - Fu Tei Section (Contract No. HY/2014/14).

     The works are expected to commence this July and will take about 36 months to complete. The works will mainly comprise retrofitting of noise barriers and enclosures along Tuen Mun Road (Fu Tei Section) and the associated drainage, roadworks, geotechnical, utility diversions, street lighting, traffic aids and landscaping works.

     The Highways Department has appointed Mannings (Asia) Consultants Limited to design and supervise the construction works. Interested contractors can obtain the tender forms and other particulars from Mannings (Asia) Consultants Limited at 5/F, Winning Commercial Building, 46-48 Hillwood Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong.

     The invitation to tender was gazetted today. Submission of tenders will close at noon on March 11, 2016 (Friday). Tender submissions should be placed in the Government Logistics Department Tender Box located on the Ground Floor, North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point, Hong Kong.
