Tenders invited for Hiram's Highway Improvement Stage 1 - between Clear Water Bay Road and Marina Cove
The Highways Department today (September 25) invited tenders for Hiram's Highway Improvement Stage 1 - between Clear Water Bay Road and Marina Cove (Contract No. HY/2014/16).
The works are scheduled to commence in February 2016 and will take about 52 months to complete. The works include construction of carriageway, a vehicular bridge-cum-walkway, a footbridge and noise barriers; demolition and reprovision of a village office, a public toilet and two refuse collection points; and associated civil and road works, slope and geotechnical works, public lighting facilities, drainage and waterworks, and landscaping works.
The Highways Department has appointed Meinhardt Infrastructure and Environment Limited to design and supervise the construction works. Interested contractors can obtain the tender forms and other particulars from Meinhardt Infrastructure and Environment Limited at L5/F, Wah Ming Centre, 421 Queen's Road West, Hong Kong.
The invitation to tender was gazetted today. The closing time for the tenders is noon on December 11, 2015 (Friday). Tender submissions should be placed in the Government Logistics Department Tender Box located on the Ground Floor, North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point, Hong Kong.
