Widening of Yuen Long Highway

Project Description:
The project mainly involves widening of a section of Yuen Long Highway between Lam Tei Quarry and Tong Yan San Tsuen Interchange from existing dual-three lane to dual-four lane for increasing the carrying capacity of this section of Yuen Long Highway and enhancing the connectivity of Route 11 to Yuen Long South Development so as to complement the traffic need due to the commissioning of Route 11 and future developments in the Northwest New Territories.
