Maintenance Services
The Highways Department (HyD) is responsible for the maintenance of public roads and associated facilities, e.g. roadside slopes/retaining walls, highway structures, public lighting facilities, street furniture, etc., under its purview, and is responsible for the maintenance of vegetation on HyD's slopes and within the expressway boundary. Apart from ensuring the serviceability of highway facilities and safeguarding the safety of road users through regular inspections for the timely arrangement of appropriate maintenance works, we also strive for enhancing the qualities of road pavement and facilities through continual improvements.
