| 鐵道拓展 New Chapter of Railway Development 北環線 Northern Link 北環線主線將成為北部都會區的主要交通骨幹，連接現有的東鐵線及屯馬線，形成一條貫通新 界及九龍市區的環狀鐵路。主線項目啟用後，市民由錦上路站往返古洞站一帶地區的車程時間， 將由現時約 60 至 80 分鐘大幅縮短至約 12 分鐘。至於連接新皇崗口岸的北環線支線，則可進 一步帶動跨境人流。主線及支線項目正爭取於二零三四年或之前同步開通。 The Northern Link Main Line will serve as the primary transport backbone of the Northern Metropolis, connecting the existing East Rail Line and Tuen Ma Line to form a circular railway linking the New Territories with the urban areas of Kowloon. Upon the commissioning of the Main Line, the travel time between Kam Sheung Road Station and the areas around Kwu Tung Station will be substantially reduced from the current approximately 60 to 80 minutes to about 12 minutes. The Northern Link Spur Line, which will connect to the New Huanggang Port, will further facilitate cross-boundary passenger flow.
