Description

The project is for
(a) roadworks for the remaining phase of the northwest Tsing Yi interchange with the Lantau Link;
(b) a long span cable-supported Ting Kau Bridge carrying a dual three-lane carriageway over Rambler Channel;
(c) an approach viaduct of approximately 700 metres in length linking the Ting Kau Bridge with Tuen Mun road and the Tai Lam Tunnel of the Country Park section;
(d) reclamation to provide for ship impact protection at bridge supporting piers and works areas;
(e) associated site formation, slope drainage and stability works including landscaping and rehabilitation;
(f) associated electrical and mechanical systems, traffic control and surveillance systems and road lighting facilities; and
