Description :

The scope of the works for the design and construction of the Approach Viaduct to the New Boundary Bridge between Lok Ma Chau and Huangang and Associated Works mainly includes :-

1. 250m of dual 2-lane Approach Viaduct leading to the proposed cross boundary bridge;
2. 160m of dual 2-lane Approach Ramp of piled in-situ deck construction for connecting (1) to existing roads in the Lok Ma Chau Control Point;
3. 120m of two-lane Overbridge for passenger vehicles;
4. diversion of the Ha Wan Nullah; and
5. Associated Works including at-grade roads, drainage, sewers, watermains, slope stabilization and protection works, traffic aids, street lighting, electrical and mechanical works, traffic control and surveillance system works, fire services main, irrigation system, hard and soft landscaping, fire hydrants and emergency crossing.
