Contract Description :
Ngong Shuen Chau Viaduct (NSCV) is an integral part of Route 8 between Tsing Yi and Cheung Sha Wan. NSCV comprises a 2.2 km dual 3-lane carriageway connecting the proposed Stonecutters Bridge with West Kowloon Highway and the section of Route 8 between Cheung Sha Wan and Shatin at Lai Wan Interchange in Cheung Sha Wan.
The scope of the NSCV contract mainly includes: -
  a) construction of Ngong Shuen Chau Viaduct and its slip roads connecting with the local road network at Container Terminal No. 8;
  b) realignment of sections of Container Port Road South, Hing Wah Street West, Lai Po Road and Lin Cheung Road Northbound; and
  c) Ancillary works including construction of noise barriers, drainage and landscape works.
