Description :

The project includes :

  1. widening and realignment of a 3.7km long section of Castle Peak Road between Sham Tseng and Ka Loon Tsuen, Tsuen Wan to a dual two-lane carriageway with 3m wide footpath on both sides;
  2. construction of five covered footbridges;
  3. reclamation and associated construction of a 970m long seawall;
  4. installation of 155m long noise barriers and 520m of partial noise enclosure; and
  5. associated works on road reconstruction, junction modification, slope stabilization, geotechnical, landscape, lighting and drainage.
