Description :

The project includes:

  1. widening and realignment of a 4.6km long section of Castle Peak Road between Area 2 and Sham Tseng, Tsuen Wan to dual two-lane carriageway with 3m wide footpath on both sides;
  2. construction of a 300-metre long single lane flyover in Ting Kau and six covered footbridges;
  3. limited reclamation and associated construction of 310m long seawall;
  4. installation of 430m long partial noise enclosure;
  5. provision of recreational facilities at three affected beaches; and
  6. associated works on road reconstruction, junction modifications, slope stabilization, geotechnical, landscape, lighting and drainage.
